This course introduces students to the basics of robotics using VEX IQ equipment. Participants build robots and mechanisms by following instructions. They then take the time to analyze them in order to make modifications to improve them.

At the same time, students are introduced to block-based programming to code their robots. They program their robots to move on their own and interact with the environment using sensors. In doing so, they develop their logical thinking skills.

Throughout the sessions, participants tackle several fun challenges. They develop their problem-solving skills through trial and error and learn to organize their thoughts when faced with an unexpected situation.

No previous experience in robotics is required.

Weekly classes from 16/09/2026 to 31/05/2027 (no classes during FWB school holidays).  Class duration 1 hour 30 minutes. 

Payment options:  full school year 950 euros (150 nonrefundable sign up fee and 800 euros tuition); or with SEPA Direct Debit (150 euros nonrefundable sign up fee + 8 monthly transfers of 100 euros).  For SEPA direct debits, please select the “Pay by bank transfer” option at check out. You will receive an email with payment instructions within 48 hours of registration.

For the kids ages under 14 we will provide a tax certificate that will allow you to recuperate up to 45% of the cost (maximum 17,30 euros per class).
