VEX IQ Challenge, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, is the worlds largest and fastest growing academic robotics competition with over 24,000 registered teams in the 2019-2020 seasons.
VEX IQ Challenge provides students with exciting, open-ended robotics challenges that enhance their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills through hands-on, student-centered learning. It fosters student development of the teamwork, critical thinking, project management, and communication skills required to prepare them to become the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
In VIQC, teams of students design, build, program, and document robots to play the current season’s robot game. At tournaments, teams will collaborate with and compete against other teams to score as many points as possible, compete in the skills challenge to score as many points as possible on their own, and participate in interviews with STEM professionals to judge the quality of their documentation and engineering process.
