VEX Robotics Competition Program | Ages 13-18
VEX Competition program, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, is the worlds largest and fastest growing academic robotics competition with over 1mln participants from more than 70 countries.
VEX Robotics Competition provides students with exciting, open-ended robotics challenges that enhance their science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) skills through hands-on, student-centered learning. It fosters student development of the teamwork, critical thinking, project management, and communication skills required to prepare them to become the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
In VRC, teams of students design, build, program, and document robots to play the current season’s robot game. At tournaments, teams will collaborate with and compete against other teams to score as many points as possible, compete in the skills challenge to score as many points as possible on their own, and participate in interviews with STEM professionals to judge the quality of their documentation and engineering process.

Course details:
All equipment for building a hero bot, a playing field and game elements are provided.
Teams need to attend regional and national competitions (organised over weekends, minimum 2 per year). If a team qualifies it will get a chance to compete at VEX Robotics World Championship held in April 2025 in Texas, US. All costs related to trips (travel costs, hotels, food etc) are not included in the price of tuition and will need to be covered separately.
Weekly classes from 25/09/2024 to 31/05/2025 plus one full day Sunday bootcamp (no classes during FWB school holidays). Class duration 2 hours.
Payment options : full school year 1050 euros (150 nonrefundable sign up fee and 900 euros tuition); or with SEPA Direct Debit (150 euros nonrefundable sign up fee + 9 monthly transfers of 100 Euros).
For the kids ages under 14 we will provide a tax certificate that will allow you to recuperate 45% of the cost (up to 16,40 euros per class).
