You will design, build and program robots with VEX IQ that can take on a variety of challenges from walking and autonomous driving to picking up, lifting and launching objects.
The purpose of this programme is to learn the fundamentals of engineering, design and scientific concepts around movement like friction, torque, force, gearing concepts, etc. You will experiment with advanced sensors including distance, color and gyro. And you will program your robot in Scratch and then progress into C++ and Python.
We will work in teams of 2 or 3 to complete a project and solve real life problems; and will put our robots to the test in small challenges and competitions.
No previous experience in robotics required.
